I use to hear this song being sung by high school students. I use to get carried away by listening to this. though i could understand only a little at my age then still learnt the song and use to sing along with them. This song should have been made our national anthem.

awesome to hear…
I really like this and want to hear more and more….
who composed this song?
Vinoba Bhave Ji
I do not know who composed it, but it was often sung by people in the Sarvodaya movement in the 1960s when I was a volunteer with them from Sweden. Vinoba Bhave and Jayaprakash Narayan were its leading lights at the time. We started many of our gatherings by singing it, so I knew it by heart. Nice to find it again!

In Mexico, we used to sing this song at the end of the day of Balvikas classes. I attended Balvikas 28 years ago, but last night I was very sick and in bed with fever and for some reason reminded it and began to sing it, making me feel much better.
I remember it was printed in every bhajanavali.

This song was written by Acharya Vinobha bhave. Every religion accept that God is there, and they try to either follow the name and form was given by their seniors/Customs/priests etc. when all religions accept only one god, who has created this world why not we all sing one song and respect each and every religion equally.

This was morning prayer in my early school days, which used to broadcast on speakers in every classrooms, in a school of small village in Gujarat.
Now at the age of 53 after recalling it, it reminds me of those golden days.
Actually it starts with “Hari Om Tatsat Shri ……
The wordings “Om Tatsat” has extremely divine meaning described in Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta.
